As an Abbey actor of many years standing, Niall has appeared in probably as many as one hundred and fifty productions, these obviously have included the full canon of great Irish plays, and a large number of the international classics. During his years as an actor, he has played all 32 counties of Ireland, 23 states of the Union, and at many of the world's most prestigious venues such as the Moscow Art, The Kennedy Centre and at the British, German and Finnish national theatres and in most of Europe's capital cities. Favourite roles include: Eben ("Desire under the Elms" - Eugene O'Neill), Truffaldino ("The Servant of Two Masters" - Goldoni), Peter ("The Birthday Party" - Pinter), and Banjo ("The Man who came to Dinner" - Kaufman and Hart) Slim ("Of Mice And Men"- Steinbeck). |
