Founded in 1988, Castaway Actor's Agency is a not-for-profit organisation aimed at increasing the influence of individual actors over the professional management of their careers.

Structured on a co-operative basis, every member plays an integral part in the running of every part of the agency.

Castaway has benefited from the initiative, commitment, talent and operation for the last 20 years. With a book currently running at 30 members this gives us over 400 years of collective experience in film, television and theatre!

As the first actors' co-operative in Ireland it was with a sense of adventure and anticipation that the original sixteen members set about promoting each others careers. Those founding members can look back with pride twenty years later as we are now a firmly established agency run solely by professional actors and one of the premier theatrical agencies in Ireland.

Castaway now deals daily with Casting directors in all areas of entertainment across Ireland and the UK and is widely recognised as a professional and efficient casting resource for all aspects of the profession
